Gaurav’s tryst with media began in a somewhat dramatic fashion when in 2001, he decided to go to Mumbai and learn the ropes as a struggler in the Hindi Film Industry. He joined a production house as a Light Boy and worked on more than 150 advertisements. Before long, he caught the attention of Kaleidoscope founder, Bobby Bedi, who asked Gaurav to join his outfit in the Production department. Since then, Gaurav has gone on to work on Feature Films including Saathiya, American Daylight, The Rising - The Ballad of Mangal Pandey and Rang De Basanti. He has also worked on Pandora Films’ Valley of Flowers and on ‘Delhi – 6’ and ‘For Real.’Gaurav has been the the primary Facilitator for international productions such as CBS’ ‘The Amazing Race’ (Seasons 7, 12, 13 & 14), AXN’s ‘The Amazing Race – Asia’ and BBC’s ‘The Search’. Most recently, he was appointed Line Producer for Disney’s Indian production, ‘The 19th Step’. Gaurav holds a Bachelors in Commerce from University of Delhi, and a Post Graduate Degree in Film and television from the School of Convergence.
